Galentine’s Day has taken on a completely new meaning for me over the years. When I was younger, friendship felt effortless. You made friends because you sat next to someone in class or lived on the same street. As adults, especially as women balancing careers, families, creativity, and life, friendship becomes something you have to choose with intention.
That is why this Galentine’s Day episode of Well Hello Magic feels so special to me.
This week on the podcast, I am joined by three women who are not just Disney creators, but real friends who have become part of my chosen family. Corina from The Magical Latina, Meg from Meg For It, and Lauren from Lauren Dreams of Magic joined me for a conversation that goes far beyond Disney. We talked about community, creativity, adult friendship, and the kind of love that does not need romance to be powerful.

I met Corina, Meg, and Lauren almost two and a half years ago on a hosted Disney trip. At the time, we were all creators, all navigating the Disney space in our own ways, and all in very different seasons of life. There was no pressure to become close. No expectation beyond showing up, creating content, and enjoying the experience.
But Disney has a way of creating connection.
There is something about walking through the parks together, waiting in lines, grabbing snacks, and sharing small moments that opens people up. Over time, those surface level conversations turned into deeper ones. Checking in on each other turned into real care. Eventually, what started as content creation became friendship.
Not the kind of friendship that exists only online, but the kind where you show up for each other, celebrate wins, talk through hard seasons, and genuinely want the other person to succeed.

Meg’s Disney journey began in 2015 when she started a travel blog focused on Disney trips. At the time, her content centered around planning, experiences, and storytelling through travel. What I admire most about Meg is her honesty. She does not present Disney as perfect or unattainable. She presents it as joyful, grounding, and real. Her content resonates because it feels lived in, not staged. She reminds people that Disney can meet you exactly where you are in life.
Corina: Individuality, Creativity, and Finding Your Place
Corina, known as The Magical Latina, also began her content journey in 2015. Over the years, her platform has grown and shifted alongside her personal evolution. What started as couple-focused content eventually became something far more expressive and personal.
Today, Corina shares Disney through the lens of individuality, creativity, and joy. As a child free millennial who truly loves the parks, her content highlights Disney food, art, hidden details, and everyday magic. She brings humor and warmth into everything she shares, while also being deeply intentional about community.
Corina talks openly about finding your people and embracing who you are without trying to fit into someone else’s version of what a Disney creator should look like. Her presence is a reminder that there is space for everyone in this community and that belonging does not require conformity.

Lauren: The Local Disney Insider Who Shares the Magic
Lauren from Lauren Dreams of Magic is someone many people turn to when they want to know what is happening in the parks right now. She is frequently at Walt Disney World, sharing real time updates, event information, and thoughtful tips that help people feel more connected to the magic.
What makes Lauren special is the balance she brings to her content. She blends what is current with what is timeless, making her platform both informative and nostalgic. Whether she is highlighting a seasonal event, a character moment, or a quiet detail in the parks, her love for Disney is clear.
Lauren is generous with her knowledge and grounded in her approach. She makes Disney feel accessible and welcoming, which is exactly what the community needs.
Friendship as Adults Requires Intention
One of the biggest themes we talked about in this episode is how different friendship looks as adults. Making friends as a grown woman is not easy. Life is busy. Schedules rarely align. Everyone is carrying something.
Adult friendship requires effort, grace, and understanding.
What makes this group special is that we allow each other to grow. We do not demand constant communication. We do not compare paths. We support each other through changes, celebrate milestones, and give space when needed.

Disney Love Breakdown and the Joy of Play
Of course, this episode would not be complete without a little fun. During the podcast, we played a game called Disney Love Breakdown, where we tested each other with trivia about Disney movies, characters, and iconic moments.
The laughter that came from that game was one of my favorite parts of the episode. It reminded me that friendship should feel light. It should include joy, humor, and moments where you are not taking life too seriously.
