Welcome to Well Hello Magic, the space where all my Disney thoughts, planning strategies, and real-life mom perspective finally had somewhere to land.

I’m Jessica—therapist by training, Disney kid turned Disney mom, and the voice behind Well Hello Magic. When I’m not breaking down Disney planning or Disney news, you can usually find me running our yard sign business, teaching cookie decorating classes, or parenting four Mouseketeers-in-training who keep me very grounded in reality.

I married my real-life prince charming in 2009 (though if we’re being honest, he’s much more Flynn Rider than Prince Eric), and we spent our wedding day at Disneyland—which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about us. We’re a proud military family, Disney Vacation Club members, D23 Gold members, and people who truly believe the magic doesn’t have to stop when you leave the parks.

Disney has been part of my life for over 30 years. But becoming a mom completely changed how I experienced it.

I vividly remember my first trip with my oldest—standing in a park I knew inside and out and wondering why I felt so overwhelmed. I realized something important in that moment: knowing Disney doesn’t automatically prepare you to do Disney as a parent. You need different strategies to be both the planner and a present participant in the vacation.

Over the last 11+ years, I’ve blended my experience as a therapist with countless trips as a mom of four to develop realistic, sustainable ways to do Disney—without burnout, guilt, or the pressure to “do it all.” My goal is simple: help you minimize stress so your Disney vacation actually feels like a vacation for you, not just your kids.
